How to make Keto Candy - No Bake recipe

These keto fat bombs will crush that sweet tooth and leave your feeling energized until your next meal. As you know ,Halloween was just a few days ago, and right now, many parents are confessing to eating their kids candy lol. No judgement here, I did this EVERY year- except this year. I have keto since June and I must say that this is the first year that I was not even tempted. However, being a wellness coach, I do understand the "power of the prep" so I prepared a few just in case I felt tempted. I wanted to share this recipe with you so that you can overcome that sweet tooth and feel victorious as you continue on your fitness journey.

Here's what you will need:

  1. Organic virgin coconut oil

  2. Your favorite sweetener ( I used Erythritol)

  3. Hershey's cocoa

  4. Unsweetened shredded coconut

  5. Unsweetened dark chocolate baking bars ( I love Baker's )

  6. An ice tray or silicon mold to pour your chocolate into.

This recipe is so simple - you can have our very own candy in about 1 hour.

First you want to set up an ice tray and place about 1/2 teaspoon of shredded unsweetened coconut into the bottom of each mold. then place and almond on top of that- like the pic you see above.

Next you want to take 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil and melt in in a saucepan. Once melted, add 4 squares of Baker's chocolate and 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. Then add 1 tablespoon of your favorite sweetener like Splenda, Stevia. ( taste the mixture to make sure it is to your satisfaction. Mix all ingredients well in the saucepan then pour into the ice cube molds ( allow it to cool for a few minutes or use a silicon try instead).

Pour the mixture until the almond is completely covered then continue until done. I only made about 6. As you know-I never make a huge batch because it is just too much. I like to have enough for the week without feeling like I am over-doing it.

Allow the candy to completely harden in the freezer for about and 1 and enjoy whenever you like.

Once you get the hang of making your own fat bombs- you can began to branch out with other ingredients. My husband and I love peanut butter- so I wanted to make some especially for my love to enjoy at work. If you enjoy peanut butter too- keep reading.

Chocolate peanut butter fat bombs

chocolate mixture: 3 tablespoons of coconut oil melted in a saucepan. Then stir in 3 teaspoons of Hershey's cocoa powder (100% cacao), and 6 squares Baker's chocolate (dark chocolate).Add 1/2 cup of Erythritol and allow to dissolve. Then place the mixture the freezer for 15 minutes to harden. Once the peanut butter has hardened- take small bits and portion it into each ice cube mold. After that, pour the chocolate over the the peanut butter. Fill each mold until the peanut butter is completely covered.

Place into freezer for 1/2 hour to allow the fat bombs to set. This is what it will look like once finished.

You can experiment with any keto friendly ingredient. I have also used protein powder into my fat bombs too. Make sure you are supplementing with quality protein. I use collagen protein for Kissmyketo.com. I love their collagen protein- because of it's high quality. They use stevia leaf extract NOT corn syrup, like some protein supplements out there. I use in my pre -workout. It's delicious , creamy, and helps me crush my workouts like a boss. it's nice and chocolaty- like hot cocoa. The protein makes is more satisfying - it's makes the perfect snack.
