Low Carb Waffles ( Keto-Friendly)

Living a #lowcarb life doesn't mean that you can no longer enjoy waffles. I love making waffles on the weekends, as I have more time to spend making breakfast. This recipe is really simple to make and will align with your wellness goals, so you don't feel guilty about eating a delicious meal.

You will need:

A Waffle Iron

1/2 cup of coconut flour

1/2 cup of almond flour

Milk ( you choose)

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 large egg

Vanilla Protein ( collagen, whey, or vegan formula)1/2

scoop

1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin spice

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of baking soda

Heavy Cream for topping

You will need to combine your almond flour and coconut flour first. Then add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda,1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin spice and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and your choice of protein. Take a fork to ensure that all dry ingredients are blended well without clumps.

This is a good time to plug up your waffle iron now...Then take another bowl and add 3/4 of your favorite milk, add one large egg, 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil and blend everything together. After that, combine the wet and dry ingredients together and blend well.

Pour the moisture , evenly over the hot waffle iron ( be careful NOT to burn yourself). Allow the waffle to cook evenly then safely remove your delicious waffle from the iron.

You can top with whip cream and berries, cacao nips, or whatever you would like. this is a great way to enjoy great tasting food and feel great about living fit and well.
