How does it work:
Take the coordinating class for each day, followed by 5,000 steps. On rest days, you can simply rest, reflect, and write what you are grateful for. You can get your steps in by walking outside, or inside your home, just get it in each day.
Now, one of the most important keys to transforming your body , is your nutrition. Nutrition will either make, or break your fitness goals. Here's why... each day your body needs energy to do the simple things, like breathing, thinking, etc. When we add activity to this, we need additional nutrients to further fuel the body. When we eat nutritionally dense food, we give our bodies the energy to burn fat, build muscle and repair muscle. During this challenge, try to eliminate processed foods, even if it says healthy. For example, gluten free pancakes are still highly processed pancakes. Try making your own protein pancakes that are made with ingredients that not only satisfy but also nourish your body.
Water is important and necessary for sustaining life. If water is not your thing, try adding some lemon or citrus to the water, and maybe purchase a water bottle to encourage hydration. Each day, try to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces.
7-8 hours of sleep each night can help your body to adequately recover. Lack of sleep puts stress on your body, can influence unhealthy food choices, and even elevate blood pressure. I have created a sleep tracker, so that you can gain a greater awareness of your sleep habits.
Practice gratitude each day. Life is happening all around us , so it is important to practice gratitude. This can help you stay positive during this process. You can download pintables for this challenge right here.
